MAM GOZ, means grandmother in the Breton language. Built to navigate the rivers and waterways of southern France, MAM GOZ can accommodate up to 6 people in 3 airconditionned double cabins with private shower and toilet. Each cabin has portholes allowing a panoramic view from bed. Eric and Christel love the cuisine from the South of France influenced by the different Mediterranean cultures. Welcome and boarding – AVIGNON
Around 4 pm, transfer to MAM GOZ tied up on the Rhône River in Avignon. After you settle down, you can rest on board or have the pleasure to walk along the banks or in the center of the beautiful town of Avignon, the famous Popes ‘City. Then, it will be time to do welcome champagne and drinks, and the occasion to meet the crew and learn more about your itinerary. We will have prepared a succulent meal, that our chef will serve you after the special “mise en bouche”!


Visit of AVIGNON - cruise to VALLABREGUES
The morning begins with your guide by a visit to the famous Palais des Papes. Capital of the western Christian world in the fourteenth century, Avignon presents an exceptional set of monuments, beautiful squares, remarkable mansions, winding alleys and fashion boutiques. After lunch in a selected restaurant, you will have time for shopping in Avignon. Then you will cruise the Rhône River to reach the small village of Vallabrègues.


You will enjoy discovering steep hills in the heart of Provence: the Alpilles. Visit of Les Baux-de-Provence, a fortified medieval city with its winding small streets, shady terraces and its imposing fortress. Then, you will meet the true star of the Alpilles: the delicious olive oil produced by the Moulin de Castelas. After lunch on a typical small village square, you will discover Saint-Rémy-de-Provence. You will enjoy its fashion boutiques and art galleries. During your cruise to Arles, you will pass an impressive lock with a height difference of 14 m.


ARLES, an ancient roman city - cruise to SAINT-GILLES
How can the magic of Arles be explained? Does it come from the light that once so dazzled Van Gogh? The impressive architectural vestiges since Roman epoc that are the legacy of successive generations? You will find answers thanks to the comments of your guide during the visit of this marvelous city of Provence. Lunch will be taken in a typical restaurant. Then, you will navigate the Petit Rhône, one of the arms of the delta du Rhône which encloses the Camargue. Arrival in Saint-Gilles famous for its pilgrimage developed since the 11th century.


Daytrip in CAMARGUE - Cruise to GALLICIAN
Today you will go in the heart of the Camarge to visit a typical horses and bulls breeding farm. Their motto is: “Rustique & Authentique”. What else? You will share a unique moment with local guardians to understand traditions and life in Camargue. Either on a cart filled with straw or on a horse you will approach the animals very close to feed them in their natural environment. After a “déjeuner” on board, you will go to the capital of the Camargue. Les Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer with its fortified church is famous for its gypsy’s pilgrimage. According to the season, you may enjoy swimming in the Mediterranean Sea. In the afternoon, back on board, comfortably installed on the upper deck, you will discover a part of the Camargue with its white horses and bulls living among the reeds and ponds.


In the morning, you will navigate the Canal du Rhône à Sète and enjoy the wild and preserved Camargue, one of Europe’s largest wetlands reserve. Arrival in Aigues-Mortes, founded by King Saint-Louis to have a harbor on the Mediterranean Sea. After lunch in a selected restaurant, you will be enchanted for more than 3 hours, by the magic of the “Salins d’Aigues-Mortes”. In a 4×4, accompanied by a local guide, you will discover inaccessible places, fauna and flora that you will not see anywhere else. Visit of Aigues-Mortes: this beautiful touristic city remains surrounded by medieval ramparts.


Transfer to airport or railway station
After breakfast transfer to the airport or railway stations in Montpellier.
